Really enjoyed Chennai, the hotel was stunningly beautiful and nice close to Marina beach. I was amazed by the breakfast, it's incredibly nice. The location of the property was marvellous and unbeatable - within easy walking distance of Valluvar Kottam Memorial.

Chennai is not a big city but location is still important for business meetings. Hotel's location is excellent. Lobby is amazing. The rest is also good.
Bathroom lights are too dark, did not help at all for a good make-up.

We stayed for 1 week and had all the time excellent food in different hotel restaurants. In Pergola restaurant on top of the building you'll have nice views over Chennai. Very courteous staff.
Spa was under renovation, so we had to go outside for massage with not so nice treatment (but renovation should be finished now)!

Their staff seemed to forget about my connecting room request. It woudl ve been good to receive a complimentary gesture, yet all I got was neglect. I almost gave a good review but just couldn't.

The staff where amazing as I had gone for surgery during my trip to Chennai, very caring and attentive. The room I moved to was quiet with a great view. Very clean with good amenities in the room.
The food can sometimes average. The rooms and carpets all smelt a little musty and could have done with a good matrons clean. My initial room was very noisy but in 24hrs was rectified.

I likes the pool area - shame you could not have a drink there (bar closed)
Two thinks I did not like: a) The aircon was freeeeeezzzzing everywhere and the bar was soooooo dark and cold that I felt like I was in a basement. Unfortunaterly the Pergola upstairs was being renovated so I could not have a cold drink somewhere warm in the hotel :-( b) I wanted to get a taxi from the hotel to the airport. And it was costing me 850 inr - this was 3 times more of what I paid on a normal taxi from the airport to the hotel the day before. Addidtionally the driver did not have change for 850 inr (I gave him a 1000 inr) so it looked to me he was expecting to jkeep the change. I felt it is a rip off to 3x charge only because your guest pay high prices. All in all the stay was ok but a bit of a let-down - the hotel lacked a bit of of athmospehere, but it was clean and people / staff where very very friendly.

Accommodations were superb with excellent breakfast options. Staff incompetence at check-in caused significant delays. Happy hour events could enhance the experience.

The staff were particularly helpful at reception and although it was a short stay, it was a good size room and comfortable. I must commend the night manager, we had a medical emergency and she rang the hotel doctor, I spoke to him and described the symptoms and he spelt out the drugs required. The manager arranged for the drugs to be picked up and delivered to our room within 15 minutes. The effects of the medication was quick and we managed to catch our plane 2 hours later almost fully recovered.

The hotel staff provided excellent assistance with visa processes.
Although I initially had a decent room, I quickly found that the comfort level varied significantly among my peers, indicating that some rooms are noticeably outdated. I encountered slow responses from the reception, and it was frustrating that my requests took longer than expected, impacting my overall stay.

There are three most important positives about the Accord Met. It is in T-Neger, which is a very central place but sometimes gets congested with traffic. Staff are very polite. Food is extremely tasty. Also, room was of good size and wifi was free and good in the lobby.
The towels were clean but a bit tired. Also the wifi signal in weak esoecially if you are in a corner room. More variaty in English tv channels would be great.
